there is nothing for me like walking in the countryside with my camera, getting lost and talking to random people i meet along the way ... people i have never met before, but generously being welcomed into their yards and often their homes..
we talk about everything and anything under the sun, but mostly with the understanding that while our lives and day to day realities might be very different, .. the only thing that sets us apart and rises to the surface is our humanity... connecting us one to one.. with curiosity... laughter and conversation..
given these turbulent times, it truly lifts ones spirit and reminds us of what is still so good and precious in this world.
* common family trait.. father on down to his three kids(one of which is me)..... we love to talk to strangers...whether a few words , just for that moment in time... and some lasting over time, and a life-time
